    Bit rates

Where does a customer of my store find out what the bitrate of their download will be, BEFORE they part with their money?

Also, how come the mp3 and aac files are different sizes? If they're the same bitrate, they must be the same size. But for one of my songs they are very different (one is only 80% of the size of the other).

I wonder if this will be answered - my previous question hasn't been, from weeks ago. (It's a few messages down from this one).

    Re: Bit rates

    Hi,

The tracks are sold in 192kbps. This is stated in the help section of each indiestore. The file size for each aac, mp3 and wma file will vary because of the codec of each file. An mp3 file is superior to an aac file and will be a larger file.

    Hope this helps.
