Many artists have been asking us to limit the preview feature on indiestore from full-length previews. 60 second previews have now been implemented for all tracks on indiestore.
indiestore originally kept full length previews as the original artists on indiestore felt it would help them sell more downloads. However, as we have grown, artists seem to be favoring a more limited preview approach. Let us know what you think on the forums

Zwaitec
'Vaseline On Lens' - Album |
 |
Zwaitec are all stadium rock ambitions, referential 80s synth, and Bloc Party/Editors undertones - with a hint of Mew and SFA in the background. There’s a sense of tranquility set against insistent and unresolved dissonance, fuzzy guitars evoking the hazy days of My Bloody Valentine. The Southampton quartet comprise a disregarded public sector employee, a coffee shop worker, someone who delivers dead bodies for medical research, and a phone salesman. Puzzlingly out of place then, but a mere irrelevance/comic factoid. |

Synthetic Insemination
'What I Want' |
 |
One look at Hong Kong quartet Synthetic Insemination and you’d think you were watching Crystal Castles or The Ting Tings, but in reality, the music has the trip hop beats of Bjork and the pop dance fizz of Guillemots’ ‘Big Dog’ – a strange child, then! Massive melodies thrown on top of feedbacky guitars, echo FX, and a massive slice of fun. Thumping drums lead you into thinking it’s some sort of nu-gaze affair until the synths kick in and let go almost instantaneously. |
